This project represents a desire to understand a complex geometric shape. The repetitive act of making one drawing after another of this shape becomes a physical attempt to understand and in a way control the form. Through the exhibiting of multiple versions within an ordered installation, the sense of control and understanding achieved by the artist is offered to the viewer. Any interactions between paper, ruler and ink are recorded as drops, smudges and bleeding.
