Ouroboros
2013
red neon, transformer

Depicting a serpent eating its own tail, the ancient symbol ouroboros is constructed in red neon. It flashes 24/7 for the duration of the exhibition, referencing both the golden age of neon advertising and the constancy and cyclicality that the symbol represents.
